New Caledonia
New Caledonia is a French-speaking country consisting of one main island and a few outlying islands, such as the Loyalty Islands and the Ile des Pins (Island of Pines).
Tourists tend to enjoy the French culture (meaning mostly the French restaurants and shopping) of the capital, Noumea, before heading across to the east coast or out to the islands.
